Always Jon Bon Jovi tarafından 90`lı yılların başında Romeo Is Bleeding filmi için yazılmıştır.Fakat Jon Bon Jovi filmi beğenmediği için şarkısının filmde kullanılmasını istememiştir.Unutulmaya yüz tutan şarkı birkaç yıl sonra arşivlerde Jon Bon Jovi`nin bir arkadaşı tarafından keşfedilmiştir ve arkadaşı Jon Bon Jovi`ye bu şarkıyı mutlaka yeniden kaydedip yayımlaması gerektiğini söylemiştir.Şarkı yeniden düzenlenip kaydedildikten sonra grubun 1994 yılında yayımlanan toplama albümü Cross Road ta yer alan iki yeni şarkıdan biri olarak albümdeki yerini almıştır.
